TV Time is shutting down
Bring your watch history to Zova
Export before July 15, 2026, then import here. We restore episode-levelprogress when the file includes it, skip what you already have, and list anything we couldn't match — no invented success rates, no forced reviews.
1. Export from TV Time (you keep the file)
- Open the TV Time GDPR self-service tool and sign in with the account that holds your history.
- Request a copy of your data and download the zip when it's ready.
- Prefer self-service over emailing support — email can take weeks; the deadline is hard.
- Keep the zip somewhere safe even after import (your portable backup).
2. Create or sign in to Zova
- You'll accept our Terms and Privacy Policy when you create an account.
- We store imported history as your watch library so recommendations can use it — same rules as anything you mark watched in Zova. See Privacy.
3. Import in Settings
- Go to Settings → Import → TV Time.
- Upload the zip as-is, or extracted CSVs (
tracking-prod-records-v2.csvepisodes,tracking-prod-records.csvmovies). - Wait for a summary: shows resolved, episodes marked, movies, watchlist adds, and unmatched titles. Large libraries can take a few minutes.
What we process (and what we don't invent)
- We do: parse your export, match titles via TMDB, write episode and movie history under your account, refresh your taste model.
- We don't: claim 100% match accuracy, auto-share your history publicly, or force episode reviews after import.
- You can: export or delete everything later in Settings → Account.
Honest limits: obscure or oddly named titles can fail TMDB match. Prefer an unmatched list over a wrong show. Re-import merges; it won't wipe what you already logged here.
After import, Zova can recommend what to watch next across your services — with reasons. Privacy · Terms · Support
